About IQAC

Quality at the heart of the college

The IQAC was introduced at PCM S.D. College as a post-accreditation quality sustenance initiative. It builds a systematic approach for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the academic and administrative performance of the college.

As the central unit for all quality-related activities, the IQAC puts innovative practices into action to raise the quality of the college’s programmes. It works for continuous improvement in every part of the college and builds the trust of everyone connected with higher education – parents, teachers, staff, employers, funding agencies and the community – by keeping high standards of quality and integrity.

The cell works from a dedicated office on the campus and is managed by its coordinator with the support of a committee of staff members (see IQAC Composition).
