Industrial Visits
- Every year more than two industrial visits are organised for the students. These visits help students to gain practical knowledge about industrial processes of various departments like Merchandise Department, Production Department, Cutting Department, Textile Department etc.
Industrial Trainings
- Every year almost 40 to 50 students go for industrial training in different Industries and Fashion Houses. They choose different departments for their training like Merchandise Department, Production Department, Cutting Department, Textile Department etc.III. During their trainings all students design and prepare the apparels at industrial level.
Annual Fashion Show “ADVEETIYA” (the unique style)
- An annual fashion show is organized every year by our department in which the students of Fashion Designing participate as designers as well as models.
- This show also provides opportunity to students from other stream to participate as models.
- The talent and creativity in apparel designing and construction of budding designers is displayed by models walking on the ramp, and appreciated by the renowned designers and fashion lovers.
- A good number of orders is placed by the audience.
- In this way the Fashion Show enables them to enhance their personality and gives opportunities for better placements in fashion houses and fashion industries.
- Costumes are displayed in 11 to 13 rounds, which are following:

Annual Exhibition (Creation Hut)
- Department of Fashion Designing organizes its annual exhibition cum sale every year in which articles, accessories, scheme work and costumes are designed and made by Fashion Designing students are exhibited and eminent personalities and celebrities are invited to visit the exhibition which encourage the students by appreciating their talent and creativity.
- Many of the articles and apparels are sold by the students on the spot and many orders are placed during exhibition, which encourage the students for their self-employment.

Earn while learn
Student enrichment program: In which the students not only from fashion designing but also from other streams attend the hobby classes in addition to their syllabus in free time, the articles and accessories prepared by them during the hobby classes and regular classes are exhibited by the end of the session In Fete, Annual Exhibition, from where they earn by selling their products. Also, two main festive exhibitions are being organized annually like Diwali Fete and Rakhi Exhibition.
Summer Schools (Hobby Classes)
During summer vacations a number of hobby classes are organized by Fashion Designing Department to serve the society and enable those for self employment, who are unable to take admissions in Diploma or Degree Classes due to financial problems.
