Introduction

Department of B.A.B.Ed was established in 2019 to run 4 years integrated teacher trainingprogram as approved by NCTE. The course comprises of B.A. program just as B.Ed. program.Both the courses are joined to frame an integrated course. The incorporated program is a double degree in nature. Towards the completion of the course, graduates will be grantedtwo degrees within 4 years is an excellent arrangement. Candidate who manage to pass thiscourse are eligible to teach at secondary and senior secondary levels in schooling system andacquire a job, they should pass relevant aptitude tests. B.A.B.Ed. course has beenremembering the requirements of 12 pass students. The integrated B.Ed. course is 1 yearshorter than the other usual course. Accordingly, this 1 year can be used fruitfully. It can be utilized for getting prepared for CTET, PTET or other pertinent entrance exams.

Highlights

Since the formation the main focus of the department is to prepare competent teachers by nurturing their existing potentials and encourage them to develop knowledge, skills and value-oriented mindset to serve the society. Different innovative methods of teaching and learning, various competition and seminars are organized by the department. Experimental learning is provided to students by sending them to different schools which provides opportunities for field-based work experience and internship to prospective teachers.
