PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar Organizes Nutrition Quiz and Guest Lecture to Promote Healthy Living

The NSS Unit and the Department of Home Science of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized a Nutrition Quiz and a Guest Lecture as part of ‘Poshan Pakhwada’, aimed at spreading awareness about health, nutrition, and the importance of a balanced lifestyle.

The Nutrition Quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from three teams. Team A comprised Navjot and Namrata of B.A. B.Ed. Semester VI, Team B included Kashish and Priya of B.Voc. Cosmetology Semester IV, while Team C featured Kashish and Durgesh of B.Sc. Fashion Designing Semester IV. Team A bagged the First position, followed by Team C in Second place, and Team B in Third.

To further strengthen awareness, a Guest Lecture on the topic “Nutrition and Wellness: A Way to Healthy Living” was delivered by Ms. Aatma Singh from the Department of Home Science. The lecture highlighted the significance of adopting healthy dietary habits and a holistic lifestyle.

President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of the Managing Committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the sincere efforts of the NSS Unit and the Department of Home Science in sensitizing students about nutrition and encouraging them to lead healthier lives
