PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar Organizes Innovative Insights: Expert Talk on Innovation Development and Technology Readiness

The Department of Cosmetology, in collaboration with the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of PCM S.D. College for
Women, Jalandhar, organized an expert talk on "Process of Innovation Development and Technology Readiness Level
(TRL) & Commercialization of Lab Technologies & Tech Transfer." The session aimed to enlighten students about the
journey of innovation from ideation to commercialization.
The guest speaker, Mrs. Gayatri Arya, Assistant Professor in the Department of Cosmetology at Kanya Maha
Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, provided valuable insights into the innovation process, including idea generation, research and
analysis, concept development, implementation, launching, promotion, and feedback. She elaborated on the
Technology Readiness Level (TRL), a key tool used to assess the maturity of a technology, and emphasized the
significance of startups, collaborations, and partnerships in fostering innovation.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the managing
committee, and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the Department of Cosmetology and the
IIC for organizing an enlightening session. They encouraged students to embrace innovation and apply their
knowledge to real-world advancements in the field of cosmetology.
