PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, Organizes Exhibition on Republic Day

Under the Earn While You Learn scheme, the P.G. Department of Fashion Designing of PCM S.D.
College for Women, Jalandhar, organized an Exhibition-cum-Sale on Best out of Waste under the
able tutelage of the revered Principal,Prof (Dr.) Pooja Prashar, at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium.

The students of Fashion Designing participated with great enthusiasm in the Republic Day
celebrations. Students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. exhibited a diverse range of handmade items, including
upcycled denim handbags, pouches, wall hangings, and other decorative pieces. The objective of
the exhibition was to promote sustainable practices by repurposing waste materials while also
equipping students with marketing skills.

President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of
the managing committee, and the worthy Principal applauded the diligent efforts of the students,
Head of the Department of Fashion Designing, Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, and faculty members for making
the event a grand success.
