PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar holds ‘Shabad Gayan’

Guru Nanak Studies Centre of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised ’Shabad Gayan’ in collaboration with Department of Music Vocal.

The students sung their melodious compositions. The aim of this activity was to implement Nanak’s ‘Bani’ as an outlet to release mental stress.

On this occasion, all the listeners present listened to the Shabad Kirtan with great devotion. The activity served as a meaningful initiative to connect students with their spiritual roots and cultural heritage. It instilled a sense of peace, discipline, and devotion while encouraging active participation in religious and value-based practices.

President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honorable members of the managing committee and Principal, Dr Pooja Prashar praised the students who participated in this activity. The activity also deepened their understanding of Sikh devotional traditions, promoting a reflective and harmonious atmosphere on campus. Overall, it contributed to the holistic development of students by nurturing both their spiritual and emotional well-being.
