IIC

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Prem Chand Markanda SD College for Women, Jalandhar, was established in 2022 under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC). It aims to foster creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students by providing hands-on learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Through expert lectures, workshops, boot camps, competitions, and field visits, the IIC promotes design thinking, leadership, sustainability, and women’s empowerment. Working in synergy with the Incubation Cell, it supports promising ideas through mentoring, industry linkages, and incubation facilities. Together, they nurture an entrepreneurial mindset and prepare students to become future-ready innovators, job creators, and changemakers contributing to society and the economy
