PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, celebrated its 50th College Fete 2025 with great enthusiasm under the dynamic leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar. The event was graced by chief guests Mr. Avinav Chopra, Director, Punjab Kesari Group, and his wife, Mrs. Sana Chopra, along with esteemed members of the managing committee.
The festivities commenced with a floral welcome and ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana by the Department of Music. In his inspiring address, the chief guest emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment and the role of teachers in shaping society.
The fete featured a vibrant cultural performance by the Department of Dance and various student-led stalls showcasing handmade jewelry and grooming services under the Earn While You Learn initiative. A special attraction was the Raffle Draw, sponsored by SBI, which added excitement to the event.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving behind cherished memories of the college’s golden journey.
