Introduction
Since 1992-93 and the journey till date, the department aspires to become a centre for excellence. The motivated faculty had been adept at following holistic approach to impart inputs so as to encourage all round personality development.

Objectives
- To facilitate educational inputs in consonance with the syllabi of G.N.D.U.
- To facilitate educational environment to students to sharpen skills based on strong theoretical fundamentals.
- To pursue a more holistic approach with a strong emphasis on Personality Development & Communication Skills.
- To facilitate strong faculty student interaction by encouraging wider participation of students.
- To raise Professional Competence of students to enable them to pursue academic pursuits or job placements what so ever.
- To provide strong milieu for the faculty development as per changed dynamics.
- To encourage use of latest tools and techniques to provide theoretical inputs.
- To provide exposure to students through practical training in the form of industrial visits and educational tours.
